the chromosomes of the fater are XY (coz he is a male) n the mother's is XX (coz shez female) now if the X cromosome of the father fuses wid de X chromosome of the motherthe offspring will B female and if the Y chromosome of the fathe fuses wid the X chromosome of the mother then the offsprinf will B a male kid and only the father has a Y chromosome to give birth to a male child hence the sex of the kid depends on the father.
