I do not think so as K2 Cr2 O7 does step wise oxidation, first aldehydes are formed only.
Acetaldehyde + KmnO4 ----> acetic acid Acetic acid + Ca(OH)2 -----> calcium acetate Calcium acetate's dry distilaation in presence of heat gives acetone
