does the poet in 'darkling thrush' get hope on hearing the thrush's song or is just lifted to a state of puzzlement and is still hopeless?

How do you all satisfactorily complete an English Literature paper ? I got extremely afraid after seeing that most answers in the marking scheme range from 700-1100 words !!! I usually write 500 word answers.

I have watched in my workbook that story's answer is written in point while poem's is in paragraph so whether I can do like this..

Is it very important to quote lines from the context? Do we get marks for that? ( for drama and shortstory )

In act1 scene 2 Ferdinand talks about some duke of milans ' brave son'.... does Antonio have a son?Is his name revealed anywhere? Or did i misunderstand the context?
