Students have to write their correct permanent postal address with pin code and Telephone number and Mobile number legibly for communication to assist postal authorities/courier companies to deliver mail promptly. They are advised to furnish change in their mailing address if any to Directorate immediately. Directorate is not responsible for non-delivery of communications on account of any reason, beyond its control. The candidates are informed to collect information on website, SMS and message will be sent to them. 2.2: Identity Card For a fruitful interaction with the student, an identity card is issued every year and which is valid for that year only. Every student is advised to, invariably carry it during their visits to the Directorate for any purpose. In case of loss of I.D. Card a Duplicate I.D. Card will be issued, on payment of Rs.100/- on through DD/receipts. University receipt/DD after due verification. 2.3: Study Material The Study Materials provided by the Directorate do not provide in depth knowledge, of the subject, but helps them to equip themselves to face the examinations better. Hence Students are advised to refer to text books. Study material once given, will not be exchanged under any circumstances. Hence, students are advised to decide the medium i.e. English or Kannada at the time of admission itself. , 2.4: Library Facility Students registered in this Directorate and who desire to avail themselves of library facilities will be permitted to make use of the University Library. They are required to contact the University Librarian for further details. 2.5: Contact Classes Contact classes/ Programme will be conducted for BBM, B.A. & B.Com (Open University scheme) and Postgraduate degree/ Postgraduate Diploma/ Diploma/ Certificate Courses under correspondence scheme. 2.6: Accommodation A l l candidates attending contact programme/assignments/Practical exam/have to make their own arrangements for their stay. No hostel / Bus pass facility would be provided by the Directorate to the candidates Courses open to all The courses offered by this Directorate are open to all the citizens of India who are residing in India. Registration cannot be claimed as a matter of right and the Directorate reserves all rights of admission / acceptance. Registration will be made only for such courses as notified by Directorate. 1.2 Students already registered for other courses are not eligible Students pursuing any other course (s) of study in this University or elsewhere either regular, correspondence, external or Open University scheme, are not eligible for admission to any of the courses offered by the Directorate, since they are not permitted to pursue two courses simultaneously. 1.3 Students who have passed the supplementary examination of the course are Eligible Candidates who have passed the AISSCE Examination in COMPARTMENT examination, SUBSEQUENT TO THE annual examination of April/ May 2011 conducted by the CBSE, Universities and other competent boards are also eligible for admission to any 1st year UG degree course during 2011-12. 1.4 Filling the Applications forms Application forms should be duly filled in completely. Documents to be submitted for registration in respect of the courses are mentioned in application form. Applications shall be submitted along with the Photo copies of Certificates along with fee receipts for having remitted original demand drafts, to the Finance Officer, BUB. 1.5 Fee once paid is not refundable The present admission pack is valid only for the year 2011-12. Fee once paid by students to a course IS NOT REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, or can be adjusted for any other course offered by the Directorate and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. 1.6 Procedure for admission All the Candidates are required to appear in person, for registration along with the following documents/requirements: (a) For all Categories of students o i) Two Passport Size recent photographs for affixing on various forms or documents.
