Virtual Fitting Room with Microsoft Kinect Team Members: Brandon Gomez, Jon Waltman, Jay Wright Sponsors and Mentors: Professor B.S. Manjunath, Carter De Leo The core feature of this project is producing a human 3D model using four Kinect sensors. The ability to save the model and view it later in a separate application on the user s PC is also included. A probable, but not guaranteed, feature is the inclusion of a virtual t-shirt fitting room. This entails shopping on a single specified clothing website and saving images Figure 1 Layout/orientation of 3D modeling station using four Microsoft Kinect sensors of desired shirts to try on, which are then placed on the model in a viewing app. Possible additional features include support for multiple types of clothing, such as jeans, dresses, skirts, tank tops, etc. Figure 1 depicts the physical orientation of the four sensors used to capture a personal 3D model while demonstrates Figure the 2 software diagram for the fully featured Figure 2 - Software flowchart for the fully featured project project.
